About the category

Hosting for a blog for developers in the USA

A curated selection: Hosting for a blog for developers in the USA. We picked providers matching these criteria and sorted them by rating, uptime and real reviews.

What matters about this combination of criteria: A blog runs fine on affordable hosting with fast page loads. Developers need root access, OS choice and an API for automation. US data centres suit American audiences and Forex on NYSE/NASDAQ.

Bottom line: for most projects in Ukraine the ideal VPS means NVMe storage, 99.9%+ uptime, a convenient panel and support in your language. Start with the ranking leaders above and compare them side by side.

How we test

  • 1We measure performance across plans
  • 2We check support response times
  • 3We read real reviews, not “we love everything”
  • 4We analyse refund policies
  • 5We update the ranking monthly

Which VPS suits whom

For a blog or portfolio

Frequently asked questions

Affordable and stable: a WordPress blog runs fine on shared hosting from $1–3/mo with NVMe disks, free SSL and caching. Heavy resources aren't needed.
When traffic consistently exceeds 20–30K visitors a day or pages start to lag at peak. Until then, shared hosting handles it well.
A KVM VPS with root access, any-OS choice, the ability to upload a custom ISO and an API/CLI for code-based management. NVMe disks speed up builds and database work.
Yes, some providers offer hourly billing — handy for test environments needed for a few hours. Create, test, delete — you pay only for the runtime.
When your audience is in America, you run a SaaS targeting the US market or Forex robots on NYSE/NASDAQ. A US server gives minimal latency for American users.
120–160 ms depending on location (East Coast is closer). It's imperceptible for regular sites but noticeable for real-time apps — for a UA audience, Europe is better.

Good

Реально за 4 года пользования только раз в поддержку пришлось обратиться, и то вопрос решили быстро. А так даже обращаться нет смысла, хостинг просто работает как положено.

about HostIQ·17 March 2023
Good

5 лет использую данный хостинг на разных сайтах, за это время даже не посещала мысль перейти на другой. одна из главных фишек этого хостинга это чат-поддержка, да и в целом отличный фидбек всегда получаю.
