About the category

VPS hosting budget on Windows

A curated selection: VPS hosting budget on Windows. We picked providers matching these criteria and sorted them by rating and real reviews.

What matters about this combination of criteria: A VPS gives dedicated resources and root access — full control over the server. Budget plans suit small projects with no overpaying. Windows Server is needed for 1C, MS SQL, ASP.NET and .NET apps.

Bottom line: for most projects in Ukraine the ideal VPS means NVMe storage, a 99.9%+ SLA, a convenient panel and support in your language. Start with the ranking leaders above and compare them side by side.

How we test

  • 1We measure performance across plans
  • 2We check support response times
  • 3We read real reviews, not “we love everything”
  • 4We analyse refund policies
  • 5We update the ranking monthly

Frequently asked questions

A VPS gives you dedicated resources (CPU, RAM, disk) and root access — you fully control the server. Shared hosting splits resources between sites and limits configuration.
Entry plans start at $1.5–4/mo for 1 vCPU and 1–2 GB RAM. A full-site configuration (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, NVMe) runs around $6–12/mo.
A low price isn't always bad. For a blog or landing page, a budget server (1–2 GB RAM, NVMe) is plenty. The key is to check uptime and support availability, not just price.
Low cost comes from the location (cheaper data centre rent), denser client packing or the absence of managed services. That's fine for small projects, but verify the virtualization type.
A Windows VPS is essential for apps that only run on Windows: 1C, MS SQL Server, ASP.NET, .NET software and corporate systems. For regular websites, Linux is better and cheaper.
With most providers, yes — the Windows Server licence is included in the plan price. Confirm the version (2019/2022) and licence type (Standard/Datacenter) before ordering.

Bad

Медленные vps на sata дисках. Администрирование на windows vps нет. Отзывы покупают за 10$. Не советую.
