About the category

VPS hosting for developers in Ukraine with VestaCP on Linux with DDoS protection

A curated selection: VPS hosting for developers in Ukraine with VestaCP on Linux with DDoS protection. We picked providers matching these criteria and sorted them by rating, uptime and real reviews.

What matters about this combination of criteria: A VPS gives dedicated resources and root access — full control over the server. Developers need root access, OS choice and an API for automation. Servers in Ukraine give minimal latency for a local audience. VestaCP is a free, open-source panel for self-administration. Linux is a stable, free foundation for most sites and applications. DDoS protection filters attack traffic before it reaches the server.

Bottom line: for most projects in Ukraine the ideal VPS means NVMe storage, 99.9%+ uptime, a convenient panel and support in your language. Start with the ranking leaders above and compare them side by side.

Frequently asked questions

A VPS gives you dedicated resources (CPU, RAM, disk) and root access — you fully control the server. Shared hosting splits resources between sites and limits configuration.
Entry plans start at $1.5–4/mo for 1 vCPU and 1–2 GB RAM. A full-site configuration (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, NVMe) runs around $6–12/mo.
A KVM VPS with root access, any-OS choice, the ability to upload a custom ISO and an API/CLI for code-based management. NVMe disks speed up builds and database work.
Yes, some providers offer hourly billing — handy for test environments needed for a few hours. Create, test, delete — you pay only for the runtime.
A server in Ukraine gives minimal latency for a local audience (under 5 ms), payment in UAH, native-language support and compliance with in-country data storage requirements.
Yes, leading data centres (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro) have backup power, generators and multiple uplinks. Confirm generator availability — it guarantees uptime during outages.

Good

Размещаюсь в Украине на Схосте. Хороший пинг, быстрый шустрый хост. В общем то тех. поддержка тоже хорошая, не знаю к чему прикопаться, чтобы быть обьективным.

Good

Хороший хост, пользуюсь уже более года. Квалифицированная поддержка и есть мой любимый способ оплаты через монобанк, принимают карты. Претензий к стабильности работы у меня нет

Bad

Кастомизации сервера нет. Убогий порт на 25мбит Возможности ставить свою ОС нет Пробного периода нет. Наверное, худший хост из тех, что я видел. Не рекомендую.

Good

Хостинг працює відмінно, за час користування послугами збоїв не було, приємно бачити, що служба підтримки завжди допомагає, і якщо виникають якісь труднощі, зразу їх вирішує.
