About the category

VPS hosting for developers with VestaCP on Linux

A curated selection: VPS hosting for developers with VestaCP on Linux. We picked providers matching these criteria and sorted them by rating, uptime and real reviews.

What matters about this combination of criteria: A VPS gives dedicated resources and root access — full control over the server. Developers need root access, OS choice and an API for automation. VestaCP is a free, open-source panel for self-administration. Linux is a stable, free foundation for most sites and applications.

Bottom line: for most projects in Ukraine the ideal VPS means NVMe storage, 99.9%+ uptime, a convenient panel and support in your language. Start with the ranking leaders above and compare them side by side.

Frequently asked questions

A VPS gives you dedicated resources (CPU, RAM, disk) and root access — you fully control the server. Shared hosting splits resources between sites and limits configuration.
Entry plans start at $1.5–4/mo for 1 vCPU and 1–2 GB RAM. A full-site configuration (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, NVMe) runs around $6–12/mo.
A KVM VPS with root access, any-OS choice, the ability to upload a custom ISO and an API/CLI for code-based management. NVMe disks speed up builds and database work.
Yes, some providers offer hourly billing — handy for test environments needed for a few hours. Create, test, delete — you pay only for the runtime.
A free, open-source hosting control panel. It provides basic management of sites, databases, email and DNS at no licence cost.
Yes, VestaCP is fully free and open-source. That's its main advantage over cPanel or ISPmanager — you save on licensing, especially on your own VPS.

Good

Bad
