About the category

VPS hosting for developers in Europe on Linux

A curated selection: VPS hosting for developers in Europe on Linux. We picked providers matching these criteria and sorted them by rating and real reviews.

What matters about this combination of criteria: A VPS gives dedicated resources and root access — full control over the server. Developers need root access, OS choice and an API for automation. European sites combine low latency to UA with GDPR compliance. Linux is a stable, free foundation for most sites and applications.

Bottom line: for most projects in Ukraine the ideal VPS means NVMe storage, a 99.9%+ SLA, a convenient panel and support in your language. Start with the ranking leaders above and compare them side by side.

Frequently asked questions

A VPS gives you dedicated resources (CPU, RAM, disk) and root access — you fully control the server. Shared hosting splits resources between sites and limits configuration.
Entry plans start at $1.5–4/mo for 1 vCPU and 1–2 GB RAM. A full-site configuration (2 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, NVMe) runs around $6–12/mo.
A KVM VPS with root access, any-OS choice, the ability to upload a custom ISO and an API/CLI for code-based management. NVMe disks speed up builds and database work.
Yes, some providers offer hourly billing — handy for test environments needed for a few hours. Create, test, delete — you pay only for the runtime.
European data centres combine solid infrastructure, GDPR compliance and low latency to a Ukrainian audience (25–40 ms). It's the optimal balance of price, speed and stability.
Germany (Frankfurt) is Europe's largest internet hub with the best infrastructure. The Netherlands offers permissive law and proximity to UA. Poland is the cheapest option with low latency.

Добрый день. Работаю с данной компанией не меньше 10 лет. Доволен на 99% (100% просто не бывает, это фантастика). Ребята всегда готовы помочь и вместе разобраться в проблемах выходящих за рамки оказания сервисной поддержки.

Bad

Серый хостинг, обманывают людей и нагло врут, не связывайтесь!

Good
