Every host calls itself reliable, so the search "reliable hosting in Ukraine" settles little. A few things can still be checked before the first payment. We use twelve hosts from our Ukrainian ranking, among them HostIQ, HyperHost and TheHost. For the monthly top see best hosting in Ukraine, for a step-by-step choice the pre-payment checklist.
What we can check and what we cannot
We have no continuous monitoring, so we publish no uptime. A bot times each host's public website once a month, plus a few extra runs: six since July. The percentage on a host's site is its own promise; check what stands behind it in the contract.
From outside you can check time on the market, reviews, how evenly the host's site responds, the trial with a refund, and the server country. The sixth sign, the contract, matters most.
Twelve hosts on these signs
| Host | Since | Reviews / score | Site response, ms (min–max, spread) | Trial / refund, days |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| HostIQ | 2009 | 454 / 4.7 | 45–82 (×1.8) | 30 / 30 |
| TheHost | 2007 | 190 / 4.7 | 549–702 (×1.3) | 7 / 14 |
| UAhosting | 2006 | 116 / 4.2 | 674–999 (×1.5) | 14 / 14 |
| HyperHost | 2008 | 103 / 4.5 | 399–486 (×1.2) | 7 / 30 |
| GMhost | 2006 | 45 / 4.4 | 252–903 (×3.6) | 3 / – |
| Ukraine.com.ua | 2008 | 45 / 4.3 | 1099–1463 (×1.3)* | 5 / 30 |
| Mirohost | 2003 | 29 / 2.9 | 542–755 (×1.4) | 30 / – |
| Fozzy | 2012 | 11 / 4.8 | 486–628 (×1.3) | 7 / 30 |
Age separates almost nothing: all twelve are 14 to 23 years old, and Mirohost, one of the oldest, has the lowest score, 2.9 on 29 reviews. Reviews separate better. Our "For business" category asks for 4.5 on at least 20 reviews, and exactly three of the twelve pass. Fozzy's 4.8 rests on 11 reviews.
On response time we look at spread. HyperHost is the most even. HostIQ is fastest among hosts with a Ukrainian data centre; its ×1.8 spread is only 37 ms in absolute terms. GMhost jumped from 252 to 903 ms and Zomro from 221 to 705 ms, a reason to look closer in the trial. We time the host's own website, not yours; see /tests and the methodology. Hosts with trials: Free trial.
Promise versus contract
For scale, in a 30-day month 99% allows up to 7 hours 12 minutes of downtime, 99.9% about 43 minutes. We compared the advertising with official documents for four hosts.
| Host | Site promises | Documents say | Compensation |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ukraine.com.ua | 99.9% equipment availability | SLA page with a scale | Yes, 5–60% of the monthly fee, only below 99% |
| TheHost | 99% availability | Quality guarantee page | Yes, a free month below 99% |
| HostIQ | "Uptime 99.9%", cloud "100%" | No figure in the offer; liability up to one month's price | No threshold |
| HyperHost | "99.97% uninterrupted operation" | No figure in the contract | Not found |
Ukraine.com.ua promises 99.9% but pays only below 99%. TheHost pays in a free month, not money. HostIQ and HyperHost show a figure on the homepage that the documents we read do not back. That does not mean their servers fail more often; it means you cannot claim compensation on that figure.
The HostIQ offer says VPS backups are weekly, kept "solely for technical purposes", with no responsibility for them. In the HyperHost contract, backups are the client's duty (clause 4.2.5). Keep your own copy on a different server and test restoring it.
A host's reliability is made of small things you can see before paying: the contract, the refund, honest reviews. A nice uptime figure is not part of that sum.

Who suits whom
- A shop or any site that earns money: HostIQ or TheHost, both 4.7 on hundreds of reviews. HostIQ has the longer trial and faster site, TheHost spells out compensation.
- Evenness without surprises: HyperHost, 103 reviews at 4.5; the drawback is that 99.97% is not tied to anything in the contract.
- A written commitment for a corporate site: Ukraine.com.ua has an SLA, but only 45 reviews at 4.3 and slower responses.
- Handle with care: GMhost, Zomro, Mirohost, and any host with about ten reviews. Use the trial.
One evening is enough: check the domain age in whois, search the offer for "downtime", "backup" and "refund", ask support a question and time the answer, pay for a month, and watch your site with a free uptime monitor.
FAQ
Which hosting in Ukraine is the most reliable?
There is no single answer, because we do not measure uptime. On checkable signs HostIQ, TheHost and HyperHost look strongest.
How do I find a host's real uptime?
Measure it yourself with an external availability monitor during the trial. Do not trust a percentage unless the offer has a threshold and compensation.
How much downtime does 99.9% uptime mean?
About 43 minutes in a 30-day month; 99% is up to 7 hours 12 minutes.
Is a server in Ukraine more reliable than one in Europe?
Not by itself. It gives speed for Ukrainian visitors; reliability depends on the host and the contract.
